| We are Cheri, Karen, and Jaidan Sullivan of Atlanta, Georgia. Welcome to our open adoption web page. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. Although we don't know you yet, we admire your strength and the love that you have for your baby as you plan your future. We believe that open adoption is a good idea for everyone involved, especially your child. He or she will grow up learning of the tremendous love and devotion you have shown in shaping his or her future. We have enjoyed visits, phone calls, and exchanges of letters and photos with Jaidan's birthmother, birth grandmother, and birth great-great grandmother and have very good relationships with them. However, we will respect the level of openess which is most comfortable for you. . We met eleven years ago through mutual friends and have been in a committed relationship for nine years. Our relationship is built on trust, love, and respect and we continue to develop the same qualities in our relationship with our daughter Jaidan and members of her birthfamily. We want to raise our children to care for and respect others and become kind, loving individuals. |
| About Cheri (by Karen): Cheri is very sensitive, generous, and trusting. Meeting her has been the best thing to ever happen to me. She's taught me to be more outgoing and expressive. She's my best friend and I love seeing her with Jaidan. She looks forward to: * the first time our next child finds his/her feet * our next baby's first words * the first tooth * the first day of school * singing songs and story-time * sharing her love of gardening with our children |
| About Karen (by Cheri): Karen is a big kid at heart who is patient and funny. She makes me laugh and shows how much she cares for me in many ways: from cooking dinner to giving spontaneous hugs. She's a wonderful partner and a great mother. She looks forward to: * our next baby's first smile * reading to and visiting bookstores with our children * early morning feedings and cuddle time * watching North Carolina basketball with our children * watching Saturday morning cartoons with our children * helping with homework and school projects |

| About Jaidan (by her moms): Jaidan is an energetic and loving child. We've enjoyed watching her grow and learn. We've been very blessed to have her in our lives which was made possible by the love of her birthmother, Aisha. Jaidan loves children, especially babies, and will make a great big sister.
